ASA Survey

In 2012 the American Society of Anesthesiologists conducted a survey that demonstrated that 56% of the public at large understood that not all anesthesiologists are physicians.

The fact is, there are several types of anesthesiologists in the US:

 - Nurse anesthesiologists

 - Physician anesthesiologists

 - Dentist anesthesiologists

 - Veterinarian anesthesiologists
